Asia Youth International Model of United Nations Conference

BANGKOK - An Asia Youth International Model of the United Nations (AYIMUN) conference was held from 3 to 6 November 2018. Various delegates from around the world including India, Nepal, Jordan, Hungary, Sri Lanka, Mongolia and other ASEAN countries, attended the conference.

The conference aims to uncover the talents of youth to become a diplomat in an attempt to address the current world's problems. The theme given this time is The Rise of Cryptocurrency and its effect on FIAT Currency. 

 

 

KUPTM students were selected as delegates from Malaysia this time around. The representatives are as follows:

 1. Shahfikry Bin Saad

 2. Hafizuddin Daniel

 3. Khairulamirin Bin Zolkeepli 

 4. Alia Natasha Binti Hazmin

 

Shahfikry presented his argument concerning the theme. His argument emphasized the supervision of the Crytocurrency development as well as the emphasis on Cryptocurrency security. He further stated that Cryptocurrency needs to be regulated and constantly supervised so that a healthy economy environment can be sustained. Hopefully, the knowledge and experience gained can be utilized by delegates in the future.
